Imogen Cloët

Visual Artist / Designer

Imogen Cloët is an award winning designer and visual artist based in Newcastle and has worked nationally and internationally in site specific installation, theatre and film. Her practise is based on intensive research, immersing herself in the many stories a site will contain to create detailed multi layered pieces that surprise and intrigue.


In the last decade Imogen has created a body of work that responds directly to Heritage sites and has undertaken artist’s commissions for among others English Heritage and the National Trust, these include The Recollection Rooms with poet Jacob Polley at Belsay Hall, Bathtime at Segadunum, Ballroom for Enchanted Parks, Trickery & Triumph at Gibside and Illumine for LUX at Cragside and The Extraordinary Pinery for Enchanted Parks.

Kit Haigh

Musician / Composer

Kit’s musical career spans multiple genres and instruments. He is best known for his work as guitarist and co-producer with Northumbrian piper Kathryn Tickell, most recently in Northumbrian Voices, and he composed the soundtrack for the Emmy & BAFTA Award winning Channel 4 documentary The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off.

 

He has also composed music for balletLORENT and currently plays drums in back-to-basics swing jazz band House Of The Black Gardenia. He has created responsive and generative music for numerous interactive art installations including Secret Garden for the Royal Hospital For Sick Children in Edinburgh.

Amanda Drago

Creative Producer

Amanda graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and undertook a career performing, teaching, producing dance and running her own company Falling Cat a resident dance company at Dance City, Newcastle. During this time her practice focused on choreographing work that enhanced the spaces within which it was performed. This included large scale outdoor works as well as creating intimate installations in sensitive sites.

 

In 2010 Amanda joined Arts Council England as Relationship Manager Dance and then Relationship Manager Combined Arts. She is currently a freelance Creative Producer / Fundraiser / Arts Manager  supporting individuals and arts organisations in project management, fundraising, organisational development and business planning. She also has been working on the capital development plans for Green Croft.
