My classes aim to be accessible and inclusive. I am happy to adapt and modify the poses for injuries and to suit the quirks of our different. My aim is that everyone is able to develop their own yoga practice. This style of yoga is suitable for all levels.
What to expect?
Meditation and Pranayama (breathing): The class begins with meditation and breath work to focus the mind and create space for moving.
Warm Up: A series of gentle movements to mobilise the body.
The Asanas (Poses): The practice continues with a series of strengthening and stretching poses held for 5 to 10 breaths. We will build on the poses each week.
Savasana (relaxation): The class ends with a silent or guided savasana.
Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothes to move in. Yoga is practiced in bare feet or yoga/pilates socks.
