Singing workshop with Cheryl Camm and Kathryn Davidson

We are running a series of complementary artistic activities alongside presenting the art work in the barn. On 14th July we are hosting a day of singing led by accomplished and skilled choir leaders Cheryl Camm and Kathryn Davidson. We are doing this in partnership with community choir, the Hadrian Singers who meet at Holy Cross Church in Haltwhsitle. Starting at Gilsland Village Hall participants will start the day with a warm up, participate in learning new songs and music making and round the day off taking a 15 minute walk / short drive to Green Croft along Hadrian’s Wall National Trail, visiting the installations and enjoy tea, coffee and cake from the onsite cafe The Bait Box. The content of the day will use the themes of the installations; seasons, harvest, circle of life and layers of time as a starting point.
