Free seated yoga for our at risk older communities during lockdown

Keep Moving

During lockdown Green Croft Arts offered a range of FREE activities to help keep those at most risk moving taking into consideration lack of internet access and use for rural and older communities.

FREE 1:1 Digital Training Sessions

Free 1:1 sessions digital skills training sessions, offering guidance and confidence on using Zoom to enable them to take part in our Chair Yoga sessions. After the training some chose not to access the online classes and receive the free DVD's instead.

FREE Online Chair Yoga Sessions (via Zoom)

 - Wed 10.30 - 11.30am

 - Friday 10.30 - 11.30am

Amanda will lead you through a gentle seated yoga class. The class will start with finding and using your breath, neck and spine warm up, modified seated yoga poses that will offer some gentle stretching, supported standing poses to help with balance and finish with a guided relaxation.

YOU TUBE Channel / FREE DVD's sent to your home

We planned, filmed and edited 9 accessible chair based yoga sessions of different lengths and focus. We sent out burned 48 DVD's and sent them to individuals and care homes as well as making them available to stream for free on our You Tube Channel.

ZOOM Coffee Morning

We hosted 15 Zoom Coffee mornings every Monday at 11.00am where we shared memories and stories to a theme for the week; memorable holidays or the last thing you saw at the theatre.
