Living On The Edge

A film for and about the people living in West Northumberland.

Living On The Edge

We gathered stories and memories of people growing up and living in the area, of the community around them, and their experience of living in a pandemic.

Creative Producer Amanda Drago collated these conversations, shaping them into prose and they were brought to life by voice Artist Kathryn Beaumont (Home Front, Radio 4). Kit Haigh filmed breathtaking images of the landscape around the base of Green Croft Arts in West Northumberland and composed a soundscape that acts as a backdrop to these voices.

Living On The Edge premiered on Thursday 4th February 2021, on Time To Talk Day which encouraged the nation to get talking and break the silence around mental health problems.
