About the Event

Anne-Marie Sanderson & Isabel Rumble

Saturday 19th September 2026

5.00pm - 7.00pm

As part of the Hadrian’s Wall Art Trail, we’re thrilled to host a special double bill in the barn featuring Anne-Marie Sanderson & Isabel Rumble.

Anne-Marie Sanderson (Cumbria) brings an intimate, atmospheric set of self-penned songs, blending the delicate introspection of Nick Drake with the expressive, ethereal tones of Kate Bush. Accompanying herself on guitar and piano, her performances are quietly powerful and deeply moving.

“Articulate and ethereal…” – Rocking Magpie

“Absolutely wonderful… her live show is fantastic” – BBC Introducing

Joining her is Australian indie-folk artist Isabel Rumble, whose earth-rooted songs weave warm acoustic textures, poetic storytelling, and a “voice like honey” (ABC Country). Fresh from touring her latest album Hold Everything Lightly, Isabel has captivated audiences from candlelit listening rooms to mountaintop venues across the world.

Together, they create a beautifully immersive evening of heartfelt, spellbinding music.

“Breathtaking” – Atwood Magazine

“Voice like honey… simply gorgeous” – ABC Country
