What is a Sound Bath

A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full-body experience where sound waves produced by instruments like gongs, singing bowls, and chimes wash over you. The vibrations and harmonics of these ancient instruments are thought to have healing qualities that help you achieve a meditative state, restore balance, and calm your mind. During the session, you’ll lie down comfortably on a bed while being enveloped by the sounds and vibrations of the instruments. The sound waves can help shift brain waves to deeper states of relaxation, like Theta, which promotes healing, creativity, and mental clarity. As the sounds resonate through the body, tension melts away, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

What to expect?

The session will start with a guided meditation for around 10 minutes to help you relax. I will then play a range of Crystal & Himalayan bowls as well as other percussive instruments for around 45 minutes. They will create a vibrating swell of sound in the room. The sounds help you mind relax and you may find you fall asleep or in a very relaxed state. After I finish playing there will be around 5 minutes of silence before bringing everyone around for a herbal tea.
