What is a Sound Bath

A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full-body experience where sound waves produced by instruments like gongs, singing bowls, and chimes wash over you. The vibrations and harmonics of these ancient instruments are thought to have healing qualities that help you achieve a meditative state, restore balance, and calm your mind. The sound waves can help shift brain waves to deeper states of relaxation, like Theta, which promotes healing, creativity, and mental clarity. As the sounds resonate through the body, tension melts away, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

What is a Floating Sound Bath?

During the Floating Sound Bath Meditation 60 minute experience you will float on the surface of a calm pool, supported by a lounger, enveloped in the soothing melodies of carefully selected sound healing bowls and percussive instruments. Water is fantastic conductor of vibration and participants will feel the sound waves pass right through their entire body. I would suggest participants experience at least one regular Sound Bath before.

Important Information

• The private pool is booked from 7.00pm - 9.00pm.

  • Arrival: Please arrive from 7.00pm ensuring you are ready in the pool to start at 7.30pm. If you are arrive earlier than 7.00pm you will be not be allowed to enter the changing rooms. I will be setting up between 7.00 - 7.30pm but you can have access to the pool and jacuzzi during this time.

  • Session time: 7.30pm - 8.40pm. The session will begin promptly. Late arrivals may not be admitted to avoid disturbing others.

  • Departure: The session will finish at 8.40pm and you will have 20 minutes to change and leave the pool. I will be packing up between 8.40pm - 9.00pm. During that time you will have access to the pool and jacuzzi. The pool hire ends at 9.00pm.

• There is NO life guard at the pool. This session is only for adults who are able to demonstrate an element of confidence in or around water.

• I will provide a flotation bed and eye mask. There are steps into the pool and you will be supported on to the bed from the steps, if needed.

• Please wear swimwear. No shoes permitted on the beds.

Contraindications

While sound baths are suitable for most people, they may not be appropriate for everyone. Please take note of the following contraindications:

• If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy.

• If you have sound-sensitive epilepsy.

• If you have any form of pacemaker or similar medical device.

• If you have severe UNMANAGED mental health issues.

• If you have and a seizure in the last 3 months.

Cancellation Policy

If I cancel the event then a full refund will be issued and notification of cancellation will be sent via email.

If you are no longer able to attend, tickets are non refundable or transferable to another day. You are welcome to sell or transfer your ticket to a friend to attend the same event on the same date and time. Please let us know if you wish to do this so I can amend the attendee list. I will also endeavour to sell the ticket on through my social media channels if 48hrs is given.
