Worm Moon Sound Bath Experience

Gilsland Village Hall, Gilsland, Northumberland, CA8 7BE

5.30pm - 6.45pm

Cost: £20.00

The March full moon heralds the arrival of spring as we gradually ease out of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Named for the emergence of earthworms as the ground thaws, the worm moon is supposed to symbolize renewal and growth.

Enjoy a guided relaxing meditation focusing on your own renewal and growth before settling into the practice followed by a crystal bowl sound meditation to balance the body, mind and soul.

A sound bath is a sonic audible and vibrational experience that is extremely beneficial and healing on both physical and mental levels. You will leave feeling a calm, relaxed and balanced. Sound healing (also known as sound therapy or sound meditation) is comparable to meditation and mindfulness, but with no effort required on behalf of the participant. This is a passive meditation and the participant is encouraged to lie down, relax and Sound-baths are for everyone interested in finding a way to relax, sleep better, destress and declutter the mind. All are invited to stay on for a chat and a warming cup of herbal tea after the session.

The more comfortable you are in a sound bath, the better you can relax, so you may want to consider the following:

  • Arrive 10 minutes before your sound bath to get settled.
  • Bring water and wear layered comfortable clothes.

To imporve the experience we are now offering for each particpant  the following

  • Floatation Lounger
  • Eyemask
  • Blanket. Please feel free to bring additional blankets and cushions if you require more comfort or feel the cold.

Please ensure you have read our Cancellation and Precautions and Contraindications Policies
