About the Event

Willow & Hazel Fence Panel (Hurdle) Workshop

Spend a creative autumn day exploring traditional rural crafts as you learn how to weave your own willow and hazel fence panel (hurdle) with expert guidance from Ruth Thompson of Sylvan Skills.

This workshop introduces a range of weaving techniques through a collaborative and practical approach. You will begin by working together on a larger demonstration panel, learning key skills and techniques, before creating your own smaller woven panel to take home.

Panels are both decorative and functional—perfect for garden screening, compost areas, or as unique natural features.
