Gentle warm up followed by two Christmas choreographies to get you in the mood for the festive season.

A mix of yoga and seated dance with a little Christmas choreography.

First class of Winter term. We take are to warm up all the joints in turn before coming up to standing for some strengthening and balancing poses using the chair. We finish with some hand exercises specifically supporting those with arthritis.

This class begins with a gentle warm up for the whole body before we practice upbeat dance choreography to Earth Wind and Fire's September. We end with a cool down and relaxation

We started with equal breathing which helps calm the mind and release stress. We then focused on the body mobilising all the joints. We have been working on a new seated dance routine to September by Earth Wind and Fire and added new moves to the chorus having worked on the verse last week. We also did a bit of strengthening and balancing standing exercises for the legs before finishing on some new hand exercises especially good if you have arthritis. Enjoy!!

A good all rounder yoga class that focuses in mobilising all the parts of the body including the hands and fingers.

Starting slowly we warmed up the body, and the brain and then recapped our sequence to We Are Family. We finished with some hand exercises and our relaxation for the session was a body scan.

This class mixes Chair yoga, seated dance and relaxation. The class begins with a gentle all over warm up for the joints as well as waking up and strengthening our core. We go over our dance sequence to We Are Family that we have been working on for the last 3 weeks. We lift the energy a bit and it's a bit of a work out. We finish with some strengthening and balancing poses.

A gentle warm up for the body before getting in the groove to Sister Sledge disco hit "We are family". We finish with some hand and finger exercises for a lovely "Finding Your Safe Space" meditation. Enjoy.

A staedy chair yoga class. Warming up joints and spine and then moving to seated Gate, Warrior II, and Reverse Warrior before coming up to standing through Chair pose and then focusing on balance and strength using adapted Tree, standing Downward Dog, and Five Pointed Star. We ended the class with some finger and hand exercises for mobility and coordination before finishing with a guided body relaxation.

We start with warming up the joints including the neck, shoulders, spine and hips before a few seated exercises for the core. We do a great quad stretch before coming up to standing for Chair pose and a few standing balances including Tree pose where we explore where our weight needs to be to balance. We do some lunges before coming back to our seat for relaxation. The video looses the sound suddenly during the relaxation so allow yourself to end your own mediation when you want.
