Workshops offer all an opportunity to explore, expand and experience an aspect of yoga to deepen your personal practice. In 2023 we are offering 3 half day workshops on yoga for menopause. Menopause Yoga is a great way for women to find out more about what menopause can entail and a yoga practice can offer valuable support to women, with movements, breath work and relaxation to support the body, mind and spirit during the menopausal years and into our second spring. Each day is £40, but you can book all three for £99 Gilsland Village Hall Sunday 29th January 10-1pm: Yoga For Menopause - Understanding menopause and finding ease from anxiety, low mod and insomnia. Sunday 26th March 10 - 1pm: Yoga For Menopause - Pelvic Floor Health The Threshing Barn, Green Croft On The Wall Sunday 28th May 10 -1pm: Post menopausal health - yoga for bone, brain and heart health These events will include plenty of opportunities for sharing thoughts and ideas, with the added benefit that a group of women joining together has been proved to increase the production of oxytocin - our cuddle hormone - which starts to help us feel more at ease and comfortable. Includes refreshments - mid morning teas, coffees and cakes. The events are for women in any stage of menopause or midlife. Only twelve places available. Please bring everything you need - all your usual yoga gear, along with two pillows, two blankets, two cushions, possibly an eye mask or a scarf and a notepad/journal/pen. We will have a break for tea and cake - please let me know if you have any food allergies / intolerances beforehand.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel or reschedule your class up to 4 hours before the start time and your class pass will be returned to be used on another class. If you do not cancel, you will lose a class pass.
